The Ensemble Hospitalier de la Côte (EHC) and health insurer CSS are joining forces to launch an integrated care venture in canton Vaud. Personal support in complex cases, a digital health record and new prevention offers are designed to improve treatment pathways and curb costs. It is the first initiative of this magnitude in Switzerland.
From 1 January 2025, CSS will be launching a new insurance model in canton Vaud in cooperation with the Ensemble Hospitalier de la Côte (EHC) health organisation. With this step, we are revolutionising healthcare in the region. Together, we are committed to the provision of high-quality, cost-effective medical care.
The EHC health organisation provides first-class access to medical care and personalised support offers. With a network covering 40 medical specialties at more than 30 locations, the EHC offers comprehensive medical care.
The continuity of care is ensured by digital health records that can be accessed by the entire EHC health team. Centralising medical data in this way enables a faster and more accurate response in every situation.
Thanks to the close cooperation between members of the EHC health team, treatment is optimally coordinated. Insured persons additionally receive comprehensive, personalised support throughout the entire treatment. They have two dedicated points of contact they can turn to when needed: the navigator and the coordinator help patients to find their way through the network and support them on their treatment journey.
