How the family discount works
You can enjoy a family discount if the person with parental authority and the child or young adult live together in the same household and have both basic and supplementary insurance with CSS.
Persons with parental authority
Persons with parental authority usually mean the child’s biological parents. But in some cases it may refer to someone else, such as foster parents, adoptive parents or same-sex parents.
To identify you as a family and keep everything simple, CSS relies on different contract roles such as premium payer, recipient of benefits and recipient of correspondence.
