Claudia Kuratli
Certified midwife
Claudia Kuratli qualified as a certified midwife in 2000. She has worked as a private midwife in the canton of Lucerne since 2003.
Her career milestones and qualifications include:
- Course on providing professional support in dealing with perinatal death
- CME on “Diastasis recti (abdominal separation) in the early and late postpartum period”
- Bachelor of Science in Midwifery (dipl. Hebamme FH)
- Midwife and managing director of the Arco birth centre and midwifery practice
- 3-month stay in New Zealand to learn English
- Training in medical acupuncture in pregnancy as propagated by A. Römer for midwives
- Certified midwife at Klinik St. Anna
- Work on projects in Cameroon
- Midwife at the KSSW cantonal hospital in Wolhusen
- Qualified as a certified midwife
Her twins were born in 2016.
In order to maintain her skills and assure a high-quality service, she makes a point of attending several CME events in Switzerland and abroad each year.
